Sarah is a Self Taught Artist based in a picturesque Hamstone Village in rural Somerset. From an early age Sarah was painting in Watercolours. Just three halfpans of Winsor & Newton’s watercolours was enough to get her started! After painting throughout her childhood and into adulthood Sarah was offered a place at Art College but circumstances at the time meant she was unable to accept and she assumed that a career in art was not meant to be. For over 23 years Sarah worked in the beauty industry,still painting at every opportunity, until she finally took the plunge and decided to make her passion for painting into a full time job. Animals of all kinds & sizes are Sarah 's inspiration and says "I love to paint in a loose, spontaneous style & make as much use of colour as I possibly can. My paintings reveal great characters as I am painting them & they always make me smile so that can only be a good thing!" Her work has received wide acclaim and he paintings hang in homes around the world. Never one to stand still, Sarah is always working on creating new styles & methods to keep her work fresh & new.
