John Lowrie Morrison, also known as Jolomo, is one of Scotland’s most successful landscape painters. His vivid landscapes are favoured among the famous, owners include Madonna, Sting and Sophia Loren.

A major retrospective of artist John Lowrie Morrison is now open in Clydebank Town Hall Museum and Gallery. ‘A Passion for Colour: Jolomo – the Retrospective’ is on display until September this year and brings together works from more than 40 years of painting. Many of the paintings shown are being exhibited for the first time.

Collectors can expect to pay up to £15,000 for one of his original works of art although the artist donates a considerable percentage of his income to charity.

We are delighted to introduce a new range of prints available by Jolomo as part of a celebration of his retrospective exhibition. You can view his full collection of Signed Limited Edition Prints and Open Edition Prints here at Union Art.

Beached Boats, Loch Indaal, Islay is one of Jolomo’s new releases. It’s an Open Edition Print available in two sizes. This vibrant and colourful landscape is a great example of how his paintings capture the essence of Scotland’s natural beauty.
