Mark SpainHarmony

After studying art Mark Spain decided his preferred medium was print making. He opened up a print-making studio and spent many years developing etchings and collagraph techniques. In 1987 Mark was commissioned to produce Limited Edition Etchings of Kew Gardens and since then he has undertaken many other commissions.

Mark Spain has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and one man shows across the UK. His artworks can be found in private collections all over the world.

Through his career Mark experimented with subject matter and mediums. He started to develop his techniques in oil paint, embracing the challenges of a completely different medium. This new work, which was mainly figurative, was very well received and in 2000 his artworks were published with the first edition selling out very quickly.

His current collection of Signed Limited Edition Prints, available here, are from ideas based on the female form. In his artwork, Harmony, Mark creates movement, mood and atmosphere. The female has her back to the viewer with her face in profile, the subject seductively draws you into the picture. The fabric she holds creates swirls of texture. The edition is only 95 Worldwide and is now very low in stock as are all of the pieces in his collection. If you too love Mark Spain then don’t delay in purchasing that perfect piece - before it’s too late!
