Stephen Doig  - Lewis Hamilton - Eyes of a Champion

Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton for his first win of the season at the Australian Grand Prix! With the start of new season of Formula 1 this weekend, we're getting in the motorsport mood with some great racing art.

Stephen Doig's high quality portrait compositions have earned him a reputation as one of the country's foremost contemporary sporting artists. His work is widely collected by players, teams and fans, as well as businesses, who have purchased his original pastel paintings and limited edition prints.

Stephen Doig was born in Oxford in 1964, his love for pencil drawings and colour sketches began at an early age. As a professional artist for over 20 years he has explored many techniques  to refine his own unique style. The addition of colour to his early pencil sketches transformed his drawings into highly finished and accomplished paintings. The combination of his talent, and his love of sport have proven to be a winning blend. He creates dramatic life studies depicting speed, movement and passion of athletic endeavour and triumph.

Lewis Hamilton - Eyes of a Champion, with the focus on the drivers eyes through his open visor this Signed Limited Edition Print is a powerful artwork. The detail is stunning and Stephen has captured Lewis Hamilton's expression perfectly. All Stephen Doig prints are supplied double mounted, we use a white top mount with the dominant colour in the image providing the slip. The print is also available to purchase framed in a stylish gunmetal colour frame.
