Daniel Robinson-Ford - Sweet Tooth.

It's hard to believe, at first glance, that Daniel Robinson-Ford's paintings are not photographs. With each of his artworks taking up to a month to complete he is able to produce photo realist artworks with oil on canvas.

Inspired by Edward Hopper and Jack Vettriano Daniel's work, just like these artists, not only has the similarity of style but also the ability to tell a story with art. The huge amount of detail in each of his artworks holds your attention and makes you question your first interpretation of the scene and the medium of the artwork.

Sweet Tooth is one of our favourite pieces from his new collection, it reminds us of happy sunshine days off. The fabulous use of light and perspective brings this Summertime beach scene to life. His full collection of Signed Limited Edition Prints are tastefully framed in pale white washed wood which sets them off beautifully.

Daniel Robinson-Ford was born in Leeds in 1978, he studied art at Jacob Kramer College. It was here that he became inspired by his tutors to continue his studies in fine art at Leeds University. While in Leeds he regularly visited the Leeds art gallery which encouraged him in the direction of fine art rather than something more commercial such as graphic design.

Daniel Robinson-Ford is an up and coming artist not to be missed. You can find his full collection of Signed Limited Edition Prints online at Union Art.
