Peter Brook RBA – Going Up As The Sun Goes Down

The work of Peter Brook RBA features traditional landscapes of the vast Yorkshire countryside nearly always in Winter. Peter Brook was born in 1927 in the Pennines and being surrounded by the Pennines became a major influence in his life. After a career in teaching art Peter Brook became a full time artist at the age of 40. He began featuring himself and his dog in his paintings in the 1980’s and this became a trademark for his later work. Sadly Peter Brook passed away in 2009. His work continues to be exhibited around the world and his original works of art fetch high prices at auction houses around the UK.
